About us.
We're building Stockrect for a specific reason. Here's who we are, why Stockrect exists, what we believe, and where we're building from.
Who we are
ElasticServe is the company behind Stockrect — a small, focused team building modern warehouse and inventory software for growing distributors and manufacturers. We're headquartered in Ahmedabad, India, and building a platform designed for growing operations globally.
We're engineering-first. Product decisions are made close to the code. Customer conversations happen with the people building the platform. There's no committee-driven roadmap, no distant enterprise sales machinery, and no gap between what customers ask for and what gets built.
Why Stockrect exists
Growing distribution and manufacturing businesses face a real software problem.
On one side: legacy accounting-first tools that were designed for a pre-modern-compliance era and treat warehouse operations as an afterthought. They work, but they don't scale to modern operational needs.
On the other side: purpose-built enterprise WMS platforms and enterprise ERPs that are priced for enterprise budgets and built for enterprise-scale complexity. They don't fit the operational reality of growing businesses.
Growing businesses get stuck between these two worlds. They've outgrown legacy accounting-first tools that treat warehouse operations as an afterthought. But they shouldn't have to accept enterprise complexity — or enterprise pricing — to get modern operational software. Businesses end up cobbling together legacy accounting tools, spreadsheets, and messaging apps — workflows that work at one scale but crack as operations grow.
Stockrect exists to fill that gap. A modern operations platform, purpose-built for growing distributors and manufacturers, at pricing that scales with the business. Not a scaled-down enterprise ERP. Not a scaled-up accounting tool. A different category, built for a specific need — modern operational software for businesses that have outgrown legacy tools.
What we believe
Four principles shape how we build Stockrect. These aren't marketing statements — they're the actual choices we make when we design features, prioritize the roadmap, and work with customers.
Modern operations shouldn't require enterprise budgets.
Growing businesses shouldn't have to accept enterprise complexity or enterprise pricing to get modern operational software. We price for accessibility and value, not to signal enterprise seriousness.
Compliance should be native, not bolted on.
Tax compliance, e-invoicing, audit trails, and jurisdictional reporting — these aren't features we added later. They're architecturally native to the platform. Compliance happens as a side effect of operations, not as a separate ceremony.
Mobile-first is a design philosophy, not a checkbox.
The warehouse floor doesn't run on desktops. We designed Stockrect for mobile-first workflows from the start — the desktop is for configuration, mobile is for operations. Not the other way around.
Every action should be auditable.
The platform can't operate without full user attribution, timestamps, and immutable history on every action. Not because compliance requires it — because that's how modern software should work.
Our approach to customers
We treat customer relationships differently than most vendors:
You talk to the people building the product.
Not a call center. Not a ticket queue. Direct access.
Your feedback influences what we build next.
Feature requests from real operational needs get prioritized over abstract product theorizing.
We're proactive, not reactive.
Quarterly business reviews, not just when something breaks.
We're honest about tradeoffs.
If Stockrect doesn't fit your specific need, we'll tell you before you sign, not after.
We're small and focused, which is what makes this possible. If we grow past the point where these commitments are achievable, we'll change how we work — but we won't quietly abandon these principles while pretending they still apply.
Where we're building from
We're headquartered in Ahmedabad, India — a location with an active distribution and manufacturing ecosystem that gives us close visibility into how growing operations actually run. We visit warehouses. We watch operations happen. We understand the on-the-ground reality of how distribution and manufacturing businesses operate at scale.
This isn't a small detail. Software built by teams that have never been inside a real distribution warehouse tends to make different design choices than software built by teams that have. Being close to a demanding operational market shows up in the product — but the platform is designed to serve growing businesses anywhere in the world.
Careers at Stockrect.
We're small. We're growing. Here's what it looks like to work here — and what we look for when we hire.
Our team
Today, we're a small, focused team based in Ahmedabad. Engineering-first, product-obsessed, and close to our customers.
There's no bureaucratic hierarchy. Everyone talks to customers. Everyone touches product decisions. Everyone participates in the strategic direction of the company.
As we grow, we're committed to maintaining this operating model. If we can't maintain direct access, engineering-first culture, and customer proximity as we scale, we'd rather stay smaller.
What we look for
The kind of person who thrives at Stockrect:
Ownership
Wants ownership from day one — not a task list, not micromanagement.
Comfort with ambiguity
Startup problems don't come with a playbook.
Genuine interest
Cares about B2B operational software — genuinely finds inventory workflows interesting.
Customer proximity
Willing to talk to customers directly — no one is too senior or too junior to answer a customer call.
Builds first
Builds first, discusses second — we prefer working prototypes over long documents.
Learns fast
The problem domain is deep, and the tools evolve constantly.
How we work
Current openings
We're not maintaining a long list of specific open roles because our hiring is deliberate and slow. But we're always interested in hearing from exceptional people in these areas:
Engineering
Full-stack developers who care about the product, not just the tech. Bonus points for interest in operational software, warehouse workflows, or B2B business systems.
Product & Design
Product-minded designers who understand B2B operational workflows. If you've designed for warehouse operations, compliance workflows, or inventory management, we want to talk.
Customer Success & Implementation
People who love helping customers succeed with software. Prior WMS, ERP, or accounting software implementation experience is valuable but not required.
Sales & Partnerships
B2B SaaS sales experience. Understanding of distribution and warehouse operations is a strong plus.
Open application
If you think you'd thrive here but don't see a specific role listed, reach out anyway. Send us:
We read everything. If it's a fit, we'll respond within a week.
If you don't hear back within two weeks, it means we're not currently able to consider your application — not because your background isn't strong, but because we hire narrowly and slowly. Feel free to reach out again later.

Response time expectations
We're honest about response times so you know what to expect:
We're a small team, which means you're never lost in a queue — but it also means we sometimes take longer for non-urgent requests when we're heads-down on critical customer work. If something is urgent, mark it as urgent in your subject line.

Where to find us online:
We're deliberately selective about social media presence. If we're going to maintain a channel, we want to use it well — better to have one active LinkedIn presence than three dormant accounts.
